Protect single-family homes and sovereign communities
On Tuesday, July 22, 2020 the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) voted on whether they should support California's Senate Bill-995. SB-995 weakens the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). With the encouragement of the Nix-the-Nine Campaign, Marin County Supervisor Damon Connolly (a member of the MTC) voted no on this bill. Connolly's sole no vote prevented the MTC from having a unanimous support for this bill.
